TWO ANCIENT TRADITIONS ONE MODERN PRACTICE - COME AND RESTORE!
Yoga and Acupuncture have been helping people find balance in mind/body/spirit for centuries. Our class will combine these ancient modalities to deliver a therapeutic experience that will leave you feeling restored and rejuvenated.
Jeff will guide you through a mindful hatha yoga sequence (accessible to all levels) followed by an extended savasana (final resting pose) that will be augmented with an acupuncture treatment by Jesse.
We offer general acupuncture prescriptions that focus on a variety of patterns of disharmony within the body.
Focusing on specific points along the body’s meridians, acupuncture uses small sterile single use needles to stimulate blocked areas, encourage circulation, regulate hormones, and harmonize the body’s complex ecosystem.
Typically, a single acupuncture treatment in Los Angeles will cost $80 - $150 and a drop-in yoga class $17 - $30, so our affordable rates make it possible for a greater segment of the population to receive yoga and regular acupuncture treatment formulated to restore the mind/body/spirit.

Does acupuncture hurt?
When patients receive an acupuncture treatment for the first time they often report having a variety of sensations. Some people describe feeling a dull ache, a tingling or pulsating sensation or experience nothing at all. There are other people who state that they feel a small pinch when the needle is inserted but the sensation dissipates quickly. .
What should I expect during a treatment? Can I be treated for other specific medical conditions?
You should anticipate a much longer and more profoundly deep Savasana. Many people feel more deeply grounded and relaxed. Acupuncture prescriptions are designed to be general in nature and intended to address more common aliments such as stress, anxiety, sleep, and general Immune boosting. Due to the nature of this community acupuncture integration with yoga we do not treat specific conditions or injury related conditions, however many of the acupuncture points in these general acupuncture prescriptions treat a wide variety of symptoms.

Disclaimer: Acupuncture is a wonderful complement to Western medicine, but it is not a substitute for it. If you think you have a serious or life threatening medical condition or problem, you may need to see an allopathic primary care physician or seek emergency care. You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. This is particularly true if you (or your family) have a history of high blood pressure or heart disease, or if you have ever experienced chest pain when exercising or have experienced chest pain in the past month when not engaged in physical activity, smoke, have high cholesterol, are obese, or have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in physical activity. Do not start this program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising you should stop immediately.
Follow Medical Advice from your primary care physician or treating medical doctor. We will never ask you to go off of any western medications or stop a therapy prescribed by another physician. It is important to talk to your prescribing doctor if you wish to discontinue a prescribed medication or if you are not sure if yoga and acupuncture may be right for you.
